Geotechnical instrumentation within Automation/ IT and Communications.
High level communications and software understanding required

Location: Johannesburg, South Africa

Role summary: Develop new business & grow business within our existing customer base for the Digitalization and adoption the highest standards of GeoEnvironmental/Geotechnical Monitoring.

Responsibilities:

  • Understand the key-drivers of our Mining clients business including; Safety, Productivity, Environmental & Ethics.

  • Communicate and present our company’s and our partner-eco systems unique value propositions both technical & commercial, participate in negotiations/meetings and/or technical clarifications; drive opportunity to a closed sale.

  • Work well within the overall TECWISE Latam team to ensure that the end-client expectations/outcomes are well understood and be able to be met by the Team; Safely, On time and within Budget.

  • Areas of focus within our existing and new customers are: GeoEnvironmental, Geotechnical, Automation, IT/OT/IoT, Telecommunications, Instrumentation and Electrical drives.

  • Monitor the progress of the market, collecting information either through specialized means, relationship base, meetings or other means, seeking continuous improvement in our offering while detect new business opportunities;

  • Monthly KPI reports and presentations;


Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Completed higher education: Control and Automation Engineering, IT and/or OT and/or IoT, and/or Telecommunications;

  • Experience in consultative sales, networking in the mining market, Underground mining is an added benefit;

  • Fluent English will be a key strength in order to interact with International Partners and associated TECWISE group entities.

  • Availability, willingness and ability to travel to the client sites

  • Hands on experience of Technical field roles.
